About Me
Hi!
My name is Bridgette, and I am a stage manager, sound designer, stage/audio technician, artist. I accepted my BA of Theatre Arts from Weber State University in 2021. Apart from stage managing and designing for various department productions, I have had the pleasure of working in all kinds of venues between Ogden and Salt Lake City! Recent credits include Salt Lake Acting Company's Elephant and Piggie's We're in a Play!, Summer Show '23, Hairy and Sherri and Plan-B Theatre's Radio Hour Episode 17: Sherlock Holmes and the Final Problem. I love learning how to do new things and use that knowledge in my work. I have had different jobs that have taught me how to; sew, scenic paint, and record/edit film! My minor is in audio recording/production and I sound design for theatre when I'm not managing amongst other odd jobs like dressing!
Part of my education was acquired during the pandemic. This was a wild ride. Internships and putting on shows in general became hard, but despite this I made it my mission to get the most out of my last couple years of school, and I was lucky enough to have some amazing professors and mentors to help me. They gave me the confidence to create one of my favorite pandemic projects; Theatre Fever! I teamed up with my WSU Performing Arts peers to produce this theatrical variety show that allowed students to perform under all covid safety protocol during the lockdown.
Now that we are coming out of this shutdown period, I am working towards gaining experience in different theatres and touring!
Currently, I a part of the stage management team of Salt Lake Acting Company, a freelance sound designer, and a remote technician for Salt Lake City's Broadway Media and ESPN.
